Rahula Collage, Matara the most prestigious school in the southern province have unfolded a chapter in the entire education sector by introducing solar power generation to the school. The past pupils donated the solar system to their alma mater, which made history within the school.
Executing the project with zero incidents
The biggest challenge in this project was installing the panels within the school especially since there are children involved. Our team of highly skilled engineers and staff were able to execute the project with zero incidents and deliver high quality solar systems to the client.
A satisfying outcome for the future generation
With two invertor panels of 17KW & 26.5KW energy consumption and a total of 119 solar panels installed within two buildings the school has the ability make the maximum energy consumption. We are also in the process in providing our modern technologies available for the schools future science exhibitions ect… which would make the future generation aware of renewable energy and make the young minds empowered for a less carbon footprint.

A system capacity of 207 kWp supplied by a roof top on-grid system, made up of 647 x 320W TrinaSolar Multi Crystalline Modules and 7 x 27.6kW Solar Edge Inverters results in this system being capable of supplying nearly 100% of the facility’s day time electricity consumption.
SolarEdge power optimizers perform module level power point tracking (MPPT), eliminating power losses due to mismatches between the solar panels. This mismatch is due to soiling, module aging and inherent variance.
